Yes, a new Shaq-Fu is still happening, new trailer debuts

It’s been a little more than three years since Shaquille O’Neal and developers Big Deez Productions and Saber Interactive secured the cash from their IndieGoGo campaign to make Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn. For those of us who never contributed to the campaign, we basically forgot about all of the hubbub surrounding the game a few years ago. But for those die-hard Shaq fans who put up the cash for a new Shaq-Fu game, they’ve been asking, “Hey, where’s our game?”

Well, this week the devs dropped a new trailer featuring a dig at the original 1994 game and a bunch of new gameplay. As you can see from this trailer (as well as 2015’s gameplay trailer), the reboot is less of a fighting game like the 1994 version and more of a beat ‘em up. Although a release date has yet to be announced, Saber Interactive is hoping to release the game sometime this fall for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Watch the new trailer above.
