Ubisoft wants your music for Watch Dogs: Legion

Music has always been a part of Ubisoft games and with that, licensing that music can be a bit expensive. So now Ubisoft is looking for help from its fans for the music of Watch Dogs: Legion.

In a partnership with HitRecord, a crowdsourced creative portal founded by actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ubisoft is asking fans to submit original music (no covers or samples) to be featured in Watch Dogs: Legion. Of all the submissions, Ubisoft will select 10 songs for the game and each song chosen will earn $2,000 for its contributors.

The way HitRecord works is that it connects musicians, producers, writers, and vocalists together to create an original work for the game. Check out the video below and the FAQ here for more information. If you’re interested contributing, visit the HitRecord/Watch Dogs: Legion page here.
