Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 launches later this year
Tony Hawk's been teasing it on Twitter for some time, and now it's official – he's skating his way back in a new Pro Skater game.
Game Informer confirmed the news with Activision set to publish the game for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year, followed by Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Robomodo, the developer behind the previous Tony Hawk releases (including the motion-sensored Ride and Shred, as well as Pro Skater HD), will be handling development.
The game will feature a number of new additions to go with the old-school gameplay that Robomodo is dialing in, including the ability to "shoot projectiles for specific missions," according to GI. In addition, players can create and share skate parks, make their own riders (to go along with Hawk's powerhouse cast of skaters) and take on friends in online co-op and competitive play.
More details about the game should be revealed next month. In the meantime, prepare to build up those million-point combos again. Hope you've mastered the 900.
