Rocket League is getting a physical Ultimate Edition on August 28

Gaming fans who have yet to give Psyonix’s rocket car soccer title Rocket League a try are about to have their hesitation pay off in a big way as a new ultimate edition of the game has been announced. Rocket League: Ultimate Edition will not only bundle in pretty much all of the game’s paid DLC, it will also be available in a physical format for those who enjoy displaying physical copies of their favorite games.

According to this announcement post from Psyonix, Rocket League: Ultimate Edition will come with the base game plus the following DLC add-ons:

  • Chaos Run
  • Supersonic Fury
  • Revenge of the Battle-Cars
  • DC Super Heroes Car Pack
  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Car Pack
  • Aftershock, Esper, Masamune, Triton, Proteus, Vulcan, and Marauder DLC Cars

Rocket League: Ultimate Edition will launch as a physical release on August 28 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The Xbox One and PS4 versions will retail at $39.99, while the Nintendo Switch version will be a tad pricier at $49.99.
