Resident Evil 3 Remake demo coming March 19
We’re a few weeks away from the April 3 release of the Resident Evil 3 remake and the folks at Capcom want to give gamers a taste of what’s to come.
On March 19, Capcom is launching a demo for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam. The Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo focuses on Jill Valentine as she teams up with Carlos Oliveira to evacuate civilians from Raccoon City. While trying to save citizens from zombies, Jill also has to protect herself from Nemesis, the giant mutated zombie boss. After completing the demo, players will get to see a brand new demo exclusive cinematic for the game.
In addition, the demo will also include an optional Mr. Charlie Scavenger Hunt. There are 20 Mr. Charlie statues hidden in the demo that players must destroy, with Nemesis hot on their heels.
On March 27, Capcom will also offer a sneak peek at Resident Evil Resistance, its asymmetrical 4 vs. 1 multiplayer mode that come with Resident Evil 3.
The open beta for the mode gives players the “option to take on the role of Daniel Fabron, one of the game’s four Masterminds, to run twisted experiments using various bioweapons and traps on a group of everyday civilians. In turn, players can band together as one of four of the six Survivors, each possessing a unique ability to help their team escape the experiment before time runs out.”
The beta will also be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam.
