Monster Hunter movie delayed to 2021

The Monster Hunter movie starring Milla Jovovich (all the Resident Evil movies), in true video game fashion, has been delayed until April 23, 2021, according to Deadline. The film, which was written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Alien vs. Predator), was originally scheduled to hit theaters on September 4, 2020, but thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, every movie studio has been reworking their movie release schedule.

The Monster Hunter film also stars T.I., Ron Perlman, Tony Jaa, and Meagan Good. In this movie version of the video game, Jovovich stars as a lieutenant who leads a team of soldiers into another dimension (read: a Monster world!) to stop an onslaught of powerful enemies and monsters.
