Middle-earth: Shadow of War Definitive Edition arrives on August 28

Now that all of Middle-earth: Shadow of War’s post-launch DLC is available, it was only a matter of time before the game got a definitive re-release that bundled all that DLC with the core game. In a recent press release, Shadow of War publisher Warner Bros. confirmed that a Middle-earth: Shadow of War Definitive Edition is indeed coming, and it will be available by the end of August.

Starting on August 28, interested buyers will be able to purchase the Shadow of War Definitive Edition which includes the entire base game, the Slaughter Tribe and Outlaw Tribe nemesis expansions, and the Blade of Galadriel and Desolation of Mordor story expansions.

Definitive Edition players will also naturally benefit from the long list of free post-launch updates the game has also received, updates which added in new and enhanced features such as an increased level cap, an endless siege mode, two additional difficulty levels, and a revamped Shadow Wars endgame experience.

The Middle-earth: Shadow of War Definitive Edition will be available at a $59.99 price point for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
