Injustice 2 will have both DLC fighters and Premier Skins for existing fighters

In addition to more traditional DLC fighters, Injustice 2 will also include a number of ‘Premier Skins’ which drastically alter certain members of the base game’s roster, and both can be had when you purchase the game’s Digital Deluxe or Ultimate editions.

As you can see in this new pre-order page for Injustice 2, the game is available in three different versions. Pre-ordering any version grants free access to a playable version of Darkseid and that’s pretty much the only bonus granted to those who pre-order the $59.99 Standard edition of the game. Those who pre-order the $79.99 Digital Deluxe version (which, as its name implies, is only available in digital form) will also get three additional DLC fighters as they’re released, a special “Defender” shader pack which includes new costume color options for all fighters, and a Premier Skin for Supergirl which transforms her into the hero Power Girl, complete with her own unique look, voice, and dialogue.

Those who spring for the $99.99 Ultimate edition of Injustice 2 will be granted access to all nine of the game’s DLC fighters, two different shader packs (Defender and Destroyer), and three Premier Skins: the Power Girl skin, a skin which transforms Flash into Reverse-Flash, and a skin which transforms the Hal Jordan version of Green Lantern into the John Stewart version.

It’s not yet clear who the nine DLC fighters will be or which three will be included in the Digital Deluxe edition of Injustice 2. Hopefully Warner Bros. and/or NetherRealm will have more information to share closer to the game’s May 16 launch date.
