Injustice 2’s third Fighter Pack introduces the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Injustice 2 has already seen the inclusion of several cross-universe guest fighters including Mortal Kombat mainstays Sub-Zero and Raiden and, starting tomorrow, the red-skinned monster hunter Hellboy. However, NetherRealm has saved its craziest crossover inclusion for last, announcing that the game’s third and final Fighter Pack will bring in the entire four-person roster of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
As you can see in the below unveiling trailer, the iconic Heroes in a Half Shell will be joined by previously revealed fighter Atom as well as the dark anti-hero Enchantress. In the past, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have appeared in various comic crossover events (including one event in which they teamed up with Batman himself), making their addition to Injustice 2’s roster exciting yet not totally surprising. It’s not entirely clear yet how exactly the pizza-loving turtles will function in playable form, with the running theory being that the player will control one turtle at a time and will be able to switch between them by executing certain special attacks.
A release date hasn’t yet been announced for Injustice 2’s third Fighter Pack DLC, but it seems safe to assume it will arrive sometime in December.
