Injustice 2’s first three DLC characters have been revealed
Making good on its promise from last week, NetherRealm has revealed the first three DLC fighters who will be joining the Injustice 2 roster after the game’s launch: Starfire, Red Hood, and Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero.
The three new fighters will make up Injustice 2’s Fighter Pack 1 DLC. A total of nine DLC fighters are planned for release overall, which means there will likely be two more Fighter Packs to come. The below trailer introduces Starfire, Red Hood, and Sub-Zero, though it sadly doesn’t include any actual gameplay footage of the three new combatants in action. However, the trailer does include a tease of the six as-yet-revealed characters at the very end, and their silhouettes make it pretty much a guarantee that two of the upcoming DLC reveals will be Black Manta (who is currently featured in Injustice 2 as part of a stage transition) and Mortal Kombat’s Raiden.
Injustice 2 will launch on May 16 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. A release date for Fighter Pack 1 hasn’t yet been announced.
