Halo Infinite will be a next-gen launch title (but will also come to PC and Xbox One)

The 2019 Xbox E3 briefing featured a look ahead at Microsoft's next gen console, currently called Project Scarlett and schedule for a late 2020 launch, and a new cinematic trailer for Halo Infinite was a centerpiece of the Project Scarlett hype.

Though Halo Infinite is being planned as a launch title for the new console, Microsoft did confirm that the title will be coming to "the entire Xbox family of devices," including Xbox One and PC.

This cinematic trailer was enough to get Halo fans hyped, but we still have yet to see any gameplay from Halo Infinite. The game is being called a "spiritual reboot" for the franchise and will run on the newly developed Slipspace Engine.
