Frogger live action game show coming to Peacock, currently casting
Frogger is making a comeback in the form of a live action competition game show. Peacock, NBC Universal’s streaming service, announced they’ve greenlit a competitive series for 13 episodes based on the classic '80s video game.
So what will it look like?
If you remember the video game Frogger, the player was tasked with steering a frog through traffic and across a river filled with logs, turtles, and alligators, to get to his swamp home. Now humans will be going through the same thing running through 12 obstacles that includes dodging traffic, leaping over gators, and avoiding hungry hippos to finish the course.
The course is being designed by the same team behind ABC’s Holey Moley.
Filming will begin in May in Australia and the show is currently casting. Do you want to test your mettle in the Frogger obstacle course? Sign up here. There’s no word on when the show will broadcast or what cash prizes the show will be offering.
