EA Sports UFC 3 arrives in February 2018
Electronic Arts has announced a third entry in its officially licensed UFC game franchise: EA Sports UFC 3. The third game in the series will naturally include a number of graphical and gameplay enhancements, once again offering players a cutting-edge simulation of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
According to a press release from EA, the major highlights of EA Sports UFC 3 include an improved animation system, a rebuilt movement system which emphasizes positioning and distance-closing tactics, a ‘G.O.A.T.’ career mode in which players can shape their fighter’s personality and behavior both inside and out of the octagon, a new submissions system, and customizable multiplayer modes which allow players to focus entirely on striking or submissions if they prefer. The cover of EA Sports UFC 3 will once again feature UFC lightweight champions Connor McGregor (he also adorned the cover of EA Sports UFC 2 alongside fellow champion Ronda Rousey).
EA Sports UFC 3 is set to launch for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on February 2, 2018. The game is available for pre-order (with a few extra perks tossed in for those who spring for the pricier Champion Edition) and you can watch the debut trailer above.
