Divinity: Original Sin 2 Kickstarter now live

Developer Larian Studios has officially launched the Kickstarter campaign for its RPG sequel Divinity: Original Sin 2. If you’re an old-school RPG craving even more adventure, you can once again put your money where your mouth is.

At the time of this writing, the Kickstarter campaign has blown past its goal of $500,000 and is currently at more than $700,000. No stretch goals have been announced yet, but Larian promises more updates will be released in the future. For now, the studio is busy prepping a demo build of the game which will be shown during this weekend’s PAX Prime convention.

There’s still 33 days to go for the Kickstarter campaign where you can pledge in tiers ranging from $5 all the way to $5,000. Divinity: Original Sin 2 will build upon the success of the first game by adding in enhanced and expanded systems such as crafting, a brand new dialogue system, multiplayer that supports both cooperative and competitive formats and new tactical combat options.
