Dishonored 2’s latest trailer shows the artistry in death

The original Dishonored supported a number of playstyles, allowing players to eliminate enemies stealthily, take them down in more straightforward melee combat, or even avoid them entirely. It also allowed clever players to use protagonist Corvo Attano’s weaponry and supernatural powers in creative ways, and Dishonored 2’s latest trailer proves that such creativity will return in full force for the sequel.

In the trailer, we get to see four different creative kill situations, two for Corvo and two for new protagonist Emily Kaldwin. Corvo and Emily each have their own unique powers and they can use these powers to orchestrate some pretty elaborate kill scenarios. Of particular note is Emily’s “Domino” ability which allows her to “link” several targets together, making it so that whatever happens to the original target also happens to the other linked targets. Corvo, meanwhile, uses the classic “Stop Time” ability to both take out swarms of guards and complete objectives in flashy ways.

Dishonored 2 is set to launch on November 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
