Cyberpunk 2077 delayed to November
One of 2020’s most anticipated games has been delayed once again. In a statement posted on Twitter, developer CD Projekt Red announced Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed from September 17 to November 19.
“Cyberpunk 2077 is finished both content and gameplay-wise,” the company said in a statement. “The quests, the cutscenes, the skills, the items, all the adventures Night City has to offer – it’s all there. But with such an abundance of content and complex systems interweaving with each other, we need to properly go through everything, balance game mechanics and fix a lot of bugs. A huge world means a huge number of things to iron out and we will spend the additional time doing exactly that.”
CD Projekt Red’s Night City Wire digital event is still planned for June 25, where the company will share extensive details and gameplay footage for the game. Check out the full statement below:
