Call of Duty: WWII private beta gets a trailer

The private multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: WWII, a beta which is only available to those who pre-order the game, will officially kick off late next week on August 25. To commemorate the beta’s imminent launch, developer Sledgehammer Games has released a new trailer showing off the carnage that players will undoubtedly wreak once the beta is live.

According to a press release from publisher Activision, the private beta will allow participants to play on several different competitive multiplayer maps, try out all five of the multiplayer component’s different Divisions (basically classes with unique perks and abilities), and even play in the new scenario-based multiplayer mode aptly titled War. There will be two separate beta weekends, the first, which starts on August 25, will only be available to PlayStation 4 players while the second, which will begin on September 1, will also be available to Xbox One players.

Call of Duty: WWII will launch on November 3 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
