Biomutant, an open-world, third-person action RPG, coming in May
During Gamescom 2017, THQ Nordic and developer Experiment 101 announced Biomutant, an open-world, third-person action role-playing game where players get to create their own kung-fu master “mammalian.” The game immediately went on many most anticipated lists with a 2019 launch date. However, 2019 came and went with no game and the excitement waned.
Last summer, however, THQ Nordic dropped more than nine minutes of new gameplay footage from the game and the hype train began rolling again. To keep the momentum going, THQ Nordic announced Biomutant will be launch on May 25, 2021, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
While the announcement didn’t come with a new trailer or gameplay footage, there will be two Collector’s Edition, an Atomic Edition for $400 which includes a diorama, soundtrack, t-shirt, mousepad, and a steel book, and a Collector’s Edition for $110 that includes a figurine, soundtrack, and artwork on fabric.
