Beta dates announced for Disintegration from Halo co-creator

We got our first look at Disintegration during Gamescom 2019, a new FPS from Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto’s studio V1 Interactive and Private Division. The game is set to launch sometime this year and will feature both a solo campaign and multiplayer modes.

In an effort to get the multiplayer portion of the game right, there will be a closed technical beta in the coming weeks and an open beta at the end of the month. Registration for the closed beta is now open, which will run on January 28 and 29 from 8am to midnight pacific standard time.

The open beta will then begin on January 30 and run until February 1 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The beta will feature two of the game’s three multiplayer modes. In Retrieval, players compete in two rounds where one teams tries to deliver a payload, which can only be delivered by the ground crew, while the other crew tries to defend. In Control, two teams go head-to-head in capturing various points on the map. Players must make sure their ground crew is alive and in the zones to earn points toward a victory.
