During The Game Awards 2020, Back 4 Blood, a Left 4 Dead spiritual successor, was announced to the excitement of many co-op zombie killing fans. We were given some fun CGI visuals with a taste of some gameplay. After it ended, people wanted to see more and quickly signed up for a chance to play the game’s upcoming alpha this weekend.
To give fans a taste of what to expect, developers Turtle Rock Studio hosted a gameplay showcase stream that featured an extended gameplay trailer, a mini-doc with the developers, and live stream with the guys from Smosh Games. Viewers were treated to more blood, a variety of weapon options, the game’s perk card system, the dev team’s goals for the game.
