The 2020 Steam Awards winners’ list

Every year, PC gamers flock to Steam’s open poll about the best games of the year. For two weeks, gamers were voting for their Game of the Year, Most Innovative Game, Best Game Soundtrack, and more. Now the results are in.

On the list below, you’ll notice a couple of surprises like Red Dead Redemption and Death Stranding being eligible in the Game of the Year category, games that seemed like they were released years ago. However, Red Dead Redemption didn’t arrive on PC until December 5, 2019, and Death Stranding arrived on PC in July 2020, which makes them both eligible in The 2020 Steam Awards.
